Healthy Moves is a healthy lifestyle program that supports women to improve their own health and wellbeing as well as bring healthy lifestyle choices home to their families.
Physical activity, healthy cooking and other lifestyle tips are experienced and shared. Run by our Health Promotion Worker and Nutritionist, women are informed about the latest evidence on how to make changes that make an actual difference to their risk of chronic illness.
Women report that the positive lifestyle changes they decide to make during the group tend to stick and spread to others in their communities.
Our vegie and herb garden is used to encourage women link food to its source and feel inspired to prepare fresh nutritious food from garden produce.
